The initiative is aimed at teaching the younger generation the importance of the technology and its many uses, create an enabling environment for more research aimed at unlocking the hidden potentials of the technology, and also to reach a milestone in creating more experts in the blockchain industry.
Analysts and blockchain enthusiasts are thus of the opinion that, Turkey as a country, has finally realized the validity and potential of blockchain technology and in other to reach a certain level of expertise, its taking initiatives in the same directions.

Bahcesehir University in Istanbul will play host to the Blockchain center. A blockchain expert, Erdamar elaborated on how Turkey has the wherewithal of being a great prospect in the global crusade for the dominance of blockchain technology, which can also improve the welfare of the people and “transform humanity” by tapping the optimum utilization of its resources.
He also emphasizes the importance of needed partnership and esteemed collaboration with other major players in the sector as it will be pivotal for the progress of the technology. He continued by stressing the importance of the merger of businesses, government institutions, and educational establishments, to be able to conduct pinpoint research in Blockchain technology.
With the wave of blockchain technology blowing its breeze into academic institutions of learning all over the world, students are tutored on the ability of the technology, and in years to come, we will have lots of scholars, authorities, and innovators littered around the world, with a heap of blockchain technology knowledge.
News filtering in recently, suggests that one of the best universities in the world, Stanford University is partnering with the Ethereum foundation with the aim of building a blockchain research center.
A South American University, based in Brazil has also introduced a postgraduate degree in crypto-finance to spice up the acceptability of virtual currencies. Ripple, the third valuable cryptocurrency by market capitalization has been very helpful to the course of research and innovation. The exchange has donated, well over $50 million, spread across 17 Universities to support blockchain and crypto research.
