TRONChat Promises To Be Better Than Traditional Social Media Platforms

Cryptocurrency giant Tron does not seem to be slowing down on its upward soar anytime soon, as it just launched its social network called TronChat, a decentralized app (dApp) with money making characteristic.
TronChat seems so ready to give popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter a good run for their money, as it offers a wide range of functions. Users with a good presence and followership on those apps have learned the art of using this high numbers to their gain, harnessing functions likes, clicks, and visits on their pages, as well as using this to make money, mostly by helping people place adverts on their pages or groups, for a fee.
With TronChat, the regular users can also make money. It is built on the blockchain and powered by the Tron (TRX) token. As it seems, this app is more like the combination of features of people’s favorite social platforms, with some upgrade though. Users can send tokens to each other on TronChat.
In a post made available on its blog, the Tron team disclosed that they are trying to make possible what social media hasn’t presented to their users; making money.
“Social media was never built for you to make money. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others were built for the sole purpose of generating profits for the platforms based on your user activity and personal data. TronChat was created to fix this paradigm, and allow users to make money from their everyday interactions with social media”, the post read.
According to the post, TronChat will allow users to share contents, such as video, pictures, and audios, as well as a story-sharing feature that is available on almost all social apps. Users can, however, monetize their contents, setting how much TRX tokens it would cost for other users to view their contents.
Moreover, Instant messaging is also available on TronChat. Tokens can be attached to messages to entice the recipient (for those who so chooses to). Users can also enable ‘direct update’ to notify them when others update their feeds. Tokens can be attached to these updates as a reward for opening, as well as completing surveys.
Chatrooms have been made as an integral part of this new app, wherein tokens can be exchanged, and room creators can be tipped.
With the app almost completed, intending users can have it on their devices soon. With TronChat, social media just got better!
