Scotland have been one of the many countries in the world that suffers from having a large number of homeless people in the country. As a solution to this, Scotland’s crypto company called ScotCoin reveals their objective to lessen homelessness through using cryptos.
How would they do it?
ScotCoin announced this plan on the peak of the country’s winter season as authorities explained that the temperature in Scotland may decrease to 17 degrees Fahrenheit over time. This fact, pushed ScotCoin to make some actions and team up with a non-government organization called Social Bite – a non-profit org that aims to deteriorate homelessness in Scotland.
According to the report, ScotCoin revealed that in order to help with the homeless people in having their own homes, ScotCoin will donate a part from each of their gained profits.
As explained, each investor that will purchase tokens from ScotCoin with the price of £20 will automatically donate a £5 percentage from the company’s profit to Social Bite in where the organization will allocate the fund to reached for the homeless people.
“This is an inspiring initiative. One of our stated objectives is to help eradicate homelessness, and Social Bite is already well established within this area,” said Temple Melville, Scotcoin’s leading stakeholder.
The two organizations shared that they foresees Scotland and its people with their own homes, having a safe and decent holidays.
ScotCoin As Sentimental Crypto Firm
The Scotland government was amazed with the plan of ScotCoin despite the company’s rough start due to their denied request of independence referendum proposed by the Scottish National Party last year. Since then, ScotCoin made his way into the market and was perceived as a sentimental crypto firm due to their propositions and plans.
“We have several thousand holders of Scotcoin and have holders in more than 50 countries worldwide. On migration to our new [Counterparty] blockchain, present holders of Scotcoin will be rewarded for their support by receiving a 4-for-1 bonus, an effective increase in the value of up to 5 times,” Melville stated in his speech.
High Percentage of Homelessness
As reported in 2017-18 Homelessness Statistics in Scotland, there have been a major rise of numbers in the cases involved with homelessness.
As a matter of fact, 34,972 people have been reported to be homeless in where the only solution convenient to them is to stay inside hotels and hostels for shelter.
This number, was high due to Scotland’s unbelievable in the renting fares that refrains people to have their own homes in the country.
Thus we can say that ScotCoin wants some change in the state using some cryptos.
