Pornhub To Accept TRON and Zencash Cryptocurrencies as Payment Options

The Canadian group Mindgeek, one of the biggest porn conglomerates in the whole internet, has announced today in a press release on its webpage that they will start accepting more cryptocurrencies as payment methods for their services. This with the idea of enhancing the private trait of their cryptocurrency payment options and give token holders the opportunity to pay with their favorite cryptocurrency.
Mindgeek is a pivotal porn portal, the biggest one in the whole internet; owning a porn advertising company, TrafficJunky, porn sites like the renowned Pornhub, and even an adult online gaming portal called Nutaku. The company announced last month that they were diving into the cryptocurrency scene by accepting Verge, a privacy-based altcoin that has faced two different hack attempts this month; but now it seems that the exclusivity of that partnership was diluted because they are integrating two new cryptocurrencies as payment options into their whole platform. TRON and Zencash.
They announced that they will be accepting these currencies through the use of a third party payment platform known as CoinPayments, a gateway that accepts more than 65 cryptocurrencies, and supports instant conversion between multiple currencies.
It is clear that for key people at Pornhub, cryptocurrencies are a very important part of the internet economy, and they have acted in consequence. Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub declared about this:

“Here at Pornhub, as one of the most viewed websites in the world with over 90 million daily visitors, it’s important that we continue to expand our crypto payment options to align with our community’s growing payment preferences,”

This deal must come as a surprising move to the Verge developers, that advertised its deal with Pornhub and an exclusive deal, meaning that this portal would only accept cryptocurrency payments in the form of their token. The partnership cost them 75 million tokens, that were collected in a crowdsourcing event that was financed by the Verge community; while in this case, no money amount was disclosed for the acceptance of these coins.
