Opera To Include A Cryptocurrency Wallet On Its Browser

Web surfing giant Opera is continuing its new relationship with blockchain and cryptocurrency by including on its desktop web browser, an inbuilt cryptocurrency wallet. The desktop was developed by the company to quench the yearning thirst of its customers.
Though, the company already has a model that was launched in July of this year, specifically for mobile users, as part of its new franchise, called opera BETA. On the decision to build the desktop version, the web giant said, the positive response it got from the cryptocurrency community on the success of the mobile wallet ignited their spirit not to be one-sided. Moreover, they want to satisfy the aspiration of desktop users as well, making it an imperative of the firm to create the same feature for the web version of their browser.
This new service will work in correlation with the existing mobile wallet, through the synchronization of the mobile wallet with the desktop, with the scanning of a QR code. The system is not a new form of connectivity by Opera, users of Opera for some time can attest that the same system has been in existence over the years for the synchronization of their mobile and desktop applications.
One of the main reason the company thought it wise to try and sync both the mobile and the desktop is for security. On the new platform, fingerprint lock that serves as a security measure on the phone can simultaneously work for the desktop users as well, making it a little bit more secure and dependable. The newly built cryptocurrency wallet also gives users all the rights to their cryptocurrencies as users can store their private keys for future use.
With crypto jacking in mind, Opera has built a system which will help guard against such attacks in future.
One of the most prevalent aspects of cryptocurrency is security; the prospect entices most investors that it posses. But the fear of being hacked are still great factor why so many would be investors are shying away and sticking to the traditional system.
But, with these measures put in place by opera, it points to the fact that security is an ongoing feature of most crypto applications, and the more they seem to be more secure, the more investors would wish to invest in the virtual currencies.
