Moscow Hosts a Crypto Conference For Women

It is a known fact that men greatly outnumber women in the cryptocurrency industry. As an effort to tip the scales, “The Crypto Conference For Women” will be held on April 28-29, at the Zolotoe Koltso hotel in Moscow. The entire conference’s purpose is to raise awareness among women about cryptocurrencies.
24 female speakers will be present at the event and will share practical and useful information about cryptocurrency such as starting initial investments, recommendation for storage options, latest developments in crypto,  blockchain technology and investment opportunities. Because the event will be livestreamed in 74 countries, this conference is not only limited to women who will be in Moscow for the event but also for men and women from all over the world.
For participants with prior knowledge and experience in blockchain technologies, ICOs and other crypto-related projects, there will be an advanced course wherein they can hone their knowledge to a professional level.
The guest lecturers are also aiming to put emphasis on the crypto perspectives in Russia for the next two years. Currently there are two draft laws being introduced to the State Duma. One being “On Digital Financial Assets” which will likely legalize ICOs and cryptocurrency mining in the country while the other one is anticipated to regulate the use of cryptocurrencies in payments, and also amend the civil code to protect investors’ interests and rights.
According to the organizer of the event and the founder of Crypto Lady Association, Anastasia Pilipchuk,

“Women can earn through cryptocurrencies much easier than it looks at first sight. Cryptocurrency is simply made for women.”

Right now, only 7% of the responders who use cryptocurrency in a recent survey conducted in Russia were women. This pushed leading female experts on the field to take on action in order to change the status quo.
Although the target audience of this conference are women, men are also welcome to join in on the activities.
