Litecoin Foundation is sponsoring the next Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) that has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 29. The cryptocurrency company made this announcement on December 27 revealing that their aim is to promote Litecoin and cryptocurrency to people from all walks of life.

Cryptocurrency Company to Support UFC Battle Event

The scheduled fight, UFC 232: JONES vs. GUSTAFFSON 2 will hold at the Forum in Inglewood, California. This is battle between Jon Jones, a former light heavyweight champion and Alexander Gustafsson, the current light heavyweight champion. This match will be aired live to millions of UFC fans.

Litecoin has noted that the UFC is no longer the local battle platform it once was 25 years ago since of recent, it has drawn a lot of attention all over the world. This is a martial arts company with millions of loyal fans in different countries. Therefore, this community can become very beneficial when it comes to the promotion of digital assets.

Promoting Litecoin to a Large User Fanbase

Accordingly, Litecoin Foundation is about to take advantage of this large user base to showcase its virtual currency. Specifically, they want to display the Litecoin logo on Octagon’s canvas which will be seen by viewers. These are people whose interest will be sparked in cryptocurrency and will maybe, end up adopting the digital asset.

The company has said that they are the first in the crypto industry to support a UFC match and therefore, a milestone has been reached. Moreover, this has helped them to achieve their aim of finding great companies to partner with in a bid to promote its digital asset. In the same vein, this will continue to be the case in 2019.

Cryptocurrency Companies Are Promoting Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency companies are actively engaging in promoting Blockchain Technology and most especially, their own digital asset. For instance, Coinbase began 12 days of Christmas event and donated to Syrian refugees living in Greece. BTCNN reported this on December, 19 stating that the company’s aim, is to teach these people about cryptocurrency while also impacting on their lives.

The same can be said about $Pac coin whose developers are donating to Venezuelans refugees. On December 22, BTCNN revealed that $Pac coin is airdropping $5 worth of its digital currency to these people and had also created an avenue for them to convert it into cash.
