How To Send Bitcoin Using Coinbase To Another Wallet

Web

  1. Go to the portfolio page on the main navigation bar.
  2. Click on the Send button for the cryptocurrency you’d like to send from. In this case, bitcoin.
  3. On the dialogue that appears, select the wallet address if you are sending it to an external wallet (wallet not located on Coinbase). You can also choose the email address option if you’re sending it to someone on Coinbase.
  4. Enter the account you’d like to send in the amount field.
  5. Choose Continue.
  6. Confirm that your details are correct and complete the transaction.

IOS

  1. Choose the Menu icon near the top left of the screen.
  2. Then choose the wallet you want to send from.
  3. Choose the paper airplane icon in the upper right hand of the screen.
  4. Enter the amount you want to send.
  5. Choose Send.
  6. Enter the destination cryptocurrency address or email address (if destination wallet is on Coinbase).
  7. Review transaction details and Send.

Android

  1. Choose the Menu icon at the top left of the screen.
  2. Choose the wallet you want to send from.
  3. Tap the (+) icon near the lower right of your screen.
  4. Tap the Send button.
  5. Enter the amount you want to send.
  6. Enter the cryptocurrency address or email of the recipient.
  7. Review transaction details and tap the forward arrow at the upper right of the screen.

How To Receive Bitcoin Using Your Coinbase Wallet

Web

  1. Choose Receive from the top right of your dashboard.
  2. Select the cryptocurrency asset type you want to receive. In this case, bitcoin.
  3. Your wallet address alongside a QR code will be displayed on the screen. Copy the address and send it to the bitcoin sender.

Mobile

  1. Open the Coinbase app via mobile.
  2. At the bottom of the navigation panel, choose the Global Action button at the center of your screen.
  3. On the pop-up that appears, choose Receive.
  4. Select the asset you’d like to receive coins/tokens on. In this case, bitcoin.
  5. Your wallet address alongside a QR code will be displayed on your screen. Copy the address and send it to the bitcoin sender.
