Following the result of an online poll, the online cryptocurrency retailer Bitcoin Superstore has announced that they have added Tron as another payment option. The news was shared by the Bitcoin Superstore on social platform Twitter, via their official account,
“You voted, and we listened! Customers can now buy from nearly any online retailer with #TRON! What does the #cryptocommunity think of our addition?”
This is coming as a great news to users of the online stores as not only do they now have a diverse list of payment methods, they can also choose from over 200,000 online stores, including major players like Amazon, Walmart, Visa, Nike and Starbucks, and any other online retailers who do not charge a membership fee by using these cryptocurrencies.
TRON, which currently ranked the 12th largest blockchain-based platform in the world by market capitalization, had recently introduced peer-to-peer (P2P) payments on major social media platforms via its platform called Seedit. This addition is thus coming as another block-breaking step for them as they keep moving closer to global acceptance. They have also struck partnership with BitTorrent, as well as owning a VIP membership on Pornhub. Their persistence seems surprising compared to other coins, and the TRON team looks the most active, aside from Ripple, perhaps.
“Our customers can buy from Amazon, Google Express, Walmart.com, and any other online retailer who does not charge a membership fee. Our team is behind the scenes, receiving orders, and ensuring the purchase, shipping, and delivery go smoothly. We are the customer’s interface from start to finish,” according to the company.
Buying from the online store is quite an effortless process. According to the official website, on the ‘how it works’ column, users only need to find the item of interest on Amazon or another website, enter the product details, “Purchase Now,” select “add to cart,” then check out with the selected cryptocurrency. The store charges a flat 2% service fee of the order’s subtotal; the lowest around.
Ripple was until now the latest cryptocurrency to be added as a payment option by the online cryptocurrency retailer: it was added on the 6th of August. Before adding XRP, Bitcoin Superstore was already supporting payments in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Dash, and Litecoin.
Bitcoin superstore claimed to be an intermediary between their users and the online stores throughout the purchase process: actively receiving orders, and ensuring the purchase, shipping, and delivery go smoothly. It is a legitimate company registered in the State of Florida, the USA which offers buyers the option of making payments with cryptocurrencies on their favorite stores.
