I think we need to take a step back and look at what’s really happening here…
The primary issue with the entire Cryptocurrency industry is lack of communication. You all want the world to understand your digital token and why it’s the next best thing, but when someone asks you to simplify it you often can’t. This is because maybe all the creative thinkers were on holidays when the source code of Bitcoin was written and the product was built with a 100% logical brain, resulting in an over complicated system which people are too afraid to use.
The evolution of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency has been a dumpster fire. The vision is great, the goal, tools, cryptography, and even the end game is going to be great. But again, it seems like somebody didn’t show up to work that day.
Apple, Google, and Samsung pretty much lead the world, right now. Almost everyone has at least one of their products. Everything they’ve done has been about taking a mind-blowingly complex system and hiding it behind something pretty and shiny. Most phones are more powerful than our laptops; Face & Touch ID, Retina Scanners, it’s really a little hard to wrap your head around how complicated our little phones are. Like the issue with the FBI wanting a back door into iPhone…
The FBI couldn’t crack an iPhone? We live in this world where we believe everyone is watching us through our devices, and nothing is safe, and we need to keep everything offline, grab the cans and string I need to make a phone call… but the FBI couldn’t crack an iPhone and needed to ask Apple.
What these Companies, and few others seem to realize is how people need simplicity. It doesn’t matter how complicated your system is, or how many BPM it RAMS, no-one really cares. What they care about is how they can use it, and how it can be a positive impact on their lives.
A confused mind says no, what did you really expect.
FileVault, Apples OSX disk encryption system is extremely impressive – yet never boasted about. What’s boasted about is how iTunes just got separated into 3 individual apps, or how apple has come out with some new innovation to make your life easier. Kind of neat to consider how one of the biggest and most advanced tech companies in the world decided they need to change and simplify something that has been around for almost 2 decades.
Huh. They must know something we don’t.
Cryptocurrency is revolutionary, no matter which angle you look at it. Society on the other hand is not. We adapt and conform to big names which we consider to be “safe”. For example: Google is one of the most talked about “Big Brother” Companies and has a reputation of being a little untrustworthy with how much data they’re recording about you. but they are still one of the most trusted companies in the world. Sheets, Docs, Gmail, G suite, Analytics, App Engine, cloud computing, the search engine, or the even Android operating system are things which 10 years ago barely existed but are now are tools we take for granted.
Facebook the Catalyst
Come on… What did you really expect?
Facebook isn’t even an app, or a website anymore (it physically is, but you’ll see where I’m going after this closing bracket and comma), it’s become something in the same category as like food, or a dictionary… It’s just there. You don’t have to like it, and you don’t have to agree with me. But if that’s the case just please quietly delete Facebook off your brand-new phone after you take it out of the package or just buy a Huawei. Whether you like it and accept it or not, Facebook has become a standard tool which almost everyone uses, and society takes for granted. It’s here to stay.
Facebook will do just as all big tech companies do, and just as apple did with iTunes. Which is create a product that’s extremely advanced and overcomplicated, and then make it pretty, and so simple that even a child can use it, Mark my words.
All this does is bring attention to Bitcoin, and your other favorite Cryptocurrencies. The world will see Facebook using its own Cryptocurrency, and we will follow. Technological evolution will happen, and people will move from Libra to others, to Bitcoin, litcoin, back to libra, red coin, blue coin, and then we’ll have a global power outage. This is when a digital future of money will come into effect.
Did you really think the price of Bitcoin went up because anything other than Facebook publicly bringing investor attention back to bitcoin based off their involvement.
