Digital Gifting Platform, Swych To Add Crypto Support Next Week

Swych, a digital gifting platform is set to add crypto support next week. The goal of implementing this feature on the gifting platform is to aid what is characterised as “revolutionary technology” in becoming a viable method for shopping and gifting.

Buying Gifts With Cryptocurrency On Swych

Purchase of gifts on Swych with crypto will be possible as from next week as revealed by the digital gifting platform. This will enable the users of the platform to buy, send, re-gift, upload, “Swych” and redeem gift cards from their mobile device.
Deepak Jain, the CEO of Swych stated that as the adoption of cryptocurrency grows and more people get involved in the crypto space, it is inevitable that consumers will be looking for means to spend their digital assets.
He further noted that Swych hopes to be one of the first companies pioneering the new way to spend and firm also feels it is ahead of the game already considering most retailers are yet to take the step taken by the firm. Also, Jain stated that based on the mission of the firm to provide consumers with options and flexibility, it would like to provide new options based on consumer needs. Notably, crypto integration is one of the many options that the consumers have requested.
The platform will be pioneering crypto support with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ethereum Classic cryptocurrencies. However, a plan is also underway to add more options for users as time goes by for their customer’s needs.

Swych’s Partnerships

Swych is a digital gifting platform that was founded in 2015. The platform aims to take the guesswork out for friends and family with mobile gift cards. The platform is in partnership with over 600 retailers across the globe. This includes Banana Republic, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Gap, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Nike and Target among others.
The platform revealed in December its venture into the blockchain world. It launched a blockchain based global gifting and shopping market place. This was aimed at providing high performance and instant settlement for its customers. The blockchain platform was built on the stellar network.
Jain stated that while the Swych platform is an amazing case for the blockchain, same is for payment and cryptocurrency.
