Cryptocurrency Data Site Coinmarketcap Announces New Subreddit

One of the most important sites for cryptocurrency enthusiasts, Coinmarketcap, has announced the creation of their new subreddit space on the Reddit social platform, a thing that they had failed to do since their creation. They hope to stay in touch more with the community and share important cryptocurrency events and news using this space. They reported this via their twitter account to all their followers.

Coinmarketcap is the lead site used for cryptocurrency traders to be informed of the cryptocurrency prices at any moment, 24 hours a day. Its listings aggregate prices and volumes from several exchanges and it is considered an essential tool for trading. Although there was no press release about this subject, the first thread in the subreddit space gave some insight about what they want to do by creating this new communication channel with traders:

Hey all: We finally have an official CMC subreddit! We will be posting updates and having more conversations with you here about crypto, market caps, how the market is doing, product improvements, feedback surveys, etc – our team is excited to be able to talk to all of you directly.

Reddit is a popular news aggregator website where users can contribute to the discussion on some subject by submitting their own links and leaving their ideas about them. Coinmarketcap subreddit space will let developers have direct contact with users to see how they think about new cryptocurrency listings and the site in general.
Coinmarketcap gained notoriety as the leading site for bitcoin and altcoin prices last December when all the cryptocurrency market was in the sights of new investors trying to capitalize on the boom that took bitcoin prices above $17,000. Nonetheless, they have been evolving and offering more services since then, and now offer a mobile app for Apple users that let them navigate the site with their native look. They have also shown their sense of humor, fooling us by listing prices in Lambos this year April’s Fools day. Although it is a little empty, you can visit them here.
