A game to be released on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, is currently making waves all over internet because of its unique and enticing offer: 1 bitcoin – worth $11296 at press time- for whoever successfully finishes all 24 puzzles.

Montecrypto: The Bitcoin Enigma will showcase an in-game world where players pilot in the first person perspective. Players must solve all 24 ‘enigmas’ in order to win the ultimate prize. Once one person wins, the game will be over for all other players. The game’s sell price is reportedly at $1.99.

Unlike previously-released games such as Crypto Kitties, Montecrypto utilizes a different angle on crypto-gaming, where “tokenized characters navigate through a series of episodes that the developers compare to “watching Game of Thrones.”

Amidst the hype surrounding the game release, the developers are under fire for rumours that they are linked to Bitcoin wallet recovery tool, btcrecover- something which the team denies. In a direct quote from Montecrypto’s FAQs, they said: “We are not here to advertise Bitcoin, we think it can be fun to have a Bitcoin as a prize for our game.” While the game has yet to be released, the developers wish to remain anonymous up until the winner secures their winnings.
