The China-based exchange Binance has informed through its Twitter feed that they are opening a closed beta for testing the first iteration of their market app, called simply Binance Info. Depending on the kind of info that the app will provide, it could be one of a kind.
Being Binance one of the biggest and most important Asian exchanges, they will revamp their current app adding this one as an accessory app to follow market trends and help traders to get a better grasp of the market stance in every moment. Their twitter post links to an application to get access to their beta app that takes into account a series of factors: the trader’s name, profession, the number of years that they have been involved with cryptocurrencies and also the amount of BNB (their native cryptocurrency) that the trader holds.
The original launch of their platform was in February of this year, when they announced that their Info portal would be a social hub for traders to know about all cryptocurrencies listed in the exchange’s platform and also act as a community hub to follow real-time price changes. Their site also states that users would be able to upload paid content and post it on the platform for consumption.
The nature of this paid content is unknown to the date, but some believe that the platform could be used to promote certain cryptocurrencies or even to give trading signals to users. If this indeed comes to happen, it would be the first official app of an exchange to offer investment advice through their platform.
Though the platform is available through the Binance website, it is nothing more than a list of the volumes traded by every cryptocurrency on the exchange; they will surely revamp the site and also provide new functionality to attract new users.
