Bangladeshi Cyber Police On The Lookout For Cryptousers

A Bangladeshi cyber police officer has declared that they are on the lookout for crypto users active on trading and holding, this morning. He also declared that there could be mutual responsibility in cybercrime between crypto users and bank institutions.
Nazmul Islam, commissioner of the unit of cybercrime of the Bangladeshi government stated: “We have already located a few bitcoin users, and are on the hunt for more, along with a few web pages which are being checked for authenticity. Investigating cryptocurrency trading is a complex matter.” These declarations were made to reinforce the Bangladeshi government posture of zero tolerance on cryptocurrency affairs.
He also declared that “Banks and other financial organizations of the country have been ordered to maintain a strict vigil on cryptocurrency trading. A circular will soon be sent out detailing the matter.”
The Bangladeshi government has had one of the hardest stances on this issue, outlawing and prohibiting all cryptocurrency use since their inception. This stance has not been successful though. Each time, more and more people use and trade bitcoin and altcoins in Bangladesh, and the authorities are overwhelmed because of the relative anonymity of those transactions.
